Bill Cauthen, Vice President of Construction
Mr. Cauthen is an integral part of Tofel Construction with over 22 years of extensive construction experience. An Arizona native, he attended Arizona State University before moving to California. There he spent four years as a union nailer, learning the trade before opening his own nailing firm specializing in houses, apartments, and condos.
He returned to Arizona in 1993 and accepted a position as a journeyman carpenter for a large industrial firm. He moved up quickly through the ranks and was promoted to a management position in the mining division for Arizona and New Mexico.
When copper prices fell and the mines closed, Mr. Cauthen chose to stay in Arizona. He started with Tofel Construction as a project superintendent in 1998. His skill was quickly recognized and he’s been promoted from superintendent to general superintendent and then construction manager over all projects to director of construction, and is currently Tofel’s vice president of construction.
